Church Of Christ members from different local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales South gathered on November 20, 2021 at the compound of the Olongapo Local Congregation’s house of worship for a “life-saving” humanitarian activity.
Led by the district supervising minister, Brother Rodrigo Reyes, the district-wide blood donation activity was held in collaboration with the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
Besides following God’s will to help others, Dianalyn Jimenez from the Local Congregation of Olongapo, became a regular blood donor for her own experience.
She said, “I regularly donate blood. When I was in Grade 2, I got a severe fever that I had to undergo operation and thus in need of blood donation. Fortunately, there was someone who kindly donated. That truly moved me to also donate nowadays.”
“Being it a great help to our fellowmen, the Iglesia Ni Cristo will continue conducting blood donation activities like this,” said Brother Mario Roncal, the district overseer of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO). “We thank the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for approving this significant activity. We look forward to more Church activities to unite with, which we know brings glory and honor to our Almighty God.”
