Utilizing technology to keep the bond of Christian brotherhood strong among young members in the Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga del Sur, an activity dubbed Binhi Friendship Day was held on August 17, 2021. Not only were the participants able to meet and greet old friends, they were also able to befriend fellow Binhi members from other local congregations across the district.
Binhi members participated in the activity from their homes through videoconferencing to comply with health and safety protocols set in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
District officers spearheaded the fun-filled activity that made the members’ bond much stronger.
“Our hearts are so happy because we accomplished this activity. We are grateful to all the Binhi members who participated and my co-officers who helped to organize this event. All this we offer for the glory and honor of our Lord God,” said Fervehn Curt.
He added, “We are grateful to the Church Administration for their relentless efforts in the launching of such activities even in this time of the pandemic. We promise to be more active in the faith and participate in all Church activities.” ― With reports from INC News Section
