As the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) continues unhindered in the construction of its houses of worship during the pandemic crisis, so is the building of its other edifices.

On May 25, 2021, Brother Nelcar Loberiano, supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga del Sur, led the inauguration of the district’s new office. It was witnessed by ministers, ministerial workers, and Church volunteer workers.

The new district office is situated within the compound of the Local Congregation of Pagadian City, along Sanson Street, Upper Lumbia. It is a two-storey building housing eight rooms for the various departments.

“Its construction was approved by the Church Administration to all the more efficiently cater to the multifarious needs of the ever-increasing number of brethren here. We deeply thank God, and the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for always looking after the Church members. With this, we will all the more be united in all Church activities, especially the intensified propagation of the faith,” he said.

One of the Church volunteer workers, Sister Dinah Balajan who has served in the district for more than ten years now, shared, “Back then there were just a few of us. But because the Church here keeps flourishing, we also increase in number. Our offices were small; now they are beautiful and spacious. All praises belong to God.” — With reports from INC News Section
