In the Philippine province of Masbate, a total of over 1,400 guests were blessed to hear the preaching of the pure gospel of salvation during evangelical missions held simultaneously in six venues on February 23, 2024.

With the Lord’s help, this was the result of the collective efforts of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Masbate.

“The number of guests bespoke of the brethren’s eagerness to help in the work of propagation,” observed Josem dela Cruz Sr., head deacon in the Local Congregation of Dapdap.

Brother Nepthalie Panes, the district supervising minister, led the Bible study held at the Barangay Dapdap Covered Court, in the town of Uson.

Other members of the district leadership officiated at the rest of the venues. They were brothers Ramon Dollesin, assistant district supervising minister, at the Puro Recreational Center in Aroroy; Al Colambot, district edification overseer, at the Cataingan Astrodome; Frank Arris Reglos, district Christian Family Organizations overseer, at the Malinta Congregation house of worship; Floro Deocales, district auditor, at the EGM Congregation house of worship; and Ruben Manalad Jr., district Church officers overseer, at the Mobo Business Center in Barangay Marintoc.

The officiating ministers emphasized to the attendees the need for people to understand, firmly believe, and obey God’s will for them to be able to render the acceptable worship and service to Him, one of which is to be inside the true Church that Christ has redeemed and will save. They proved through the Bible that that Church is the Church Of Christ.

“With God’s mercy and help, I was able to invite my loved ones,” enthused Jenifer Arcillas, a choir member from the Dapdap Congregation.

“As soon as I heard the news that our local congregation will be having this evangelical mission, I did my best in inviting guests,” shared Ampel Bayagusa, group overseer in the Masbate City Congregation.

He was able to bring with him many guests, one of which was Maricel Conje, who expressed, “I feel so welcomed. I understood God’s will that’s quoted directly from the Bible. I look forward to attend upcoming Bible studies because I want to learn more.” — With reports from Roxanne Altarejos of INC News Section
