The Ecclesiastical District of Calamian, in the Philippines, conducted a special gathering for Light of Salvation (LOS) officers. It was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Coron on April 20, 2025. Of the attendees, 53 new officers took their oath of office.
“Enthusiasm was evident among the officers. Although many of them are from local congregations far from the venue, they arrived early, firmly believing that they will receive spiritual blessings through this gathering,” said district LOS overseer Brother Renjie Ramos.
Calamian District assistant supervising minister Brother Gerson Canlas officiated at the holy occasion. In his Bible-based lecture, he emphasized to all attendees how they can all the more perform their duties unitedly with the aim and spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ that is in accordance with the will of the Lord God.
“I’m very glad being able to attend this special gathering as I was reminded about the significance of my duty in the Church’s work of propagation. I’m further inspired to fulfill my duty,” said Coron Congregation LOS secretary Kisses Empleo.
Among the newly sworn in LOS officers was Angel Shantal Cueto from the same congregation, who shared her zeal: “I will do my best to fulfill my duty to be of help to the Church Administration and give glory to God.” — With reports from Jed Ceder Dosdos
