A new extension of the Local Congregation of Templo Central was recently opened formally by the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Central.
It is situated some two kilometers from the Iglesia Ni Cristo Central Temple at the LIG Condominium along Central Avenue, Brgy. Culiat, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, hence, it is named LIG Extension.
District supervising minister Brother Diosdado F. Dades officiated at its inaugural worship service on June 11, 2025, Wednesday, 5:30 in the morning. The said day and hour is one of the regular schedules of the worship service in the new extension.
In his homily, Brother Dades taught the importance of obeying God’s words in overcoming the evil and challenging circumstances in this world that the brethren may go through. He then highlighted the significance of the place of worship, being where God’s servants can pray and receive His words, especially during worship services.
“The extension was established due to the increasing number of brethren here [LIG Condominium], thereby allowing them to worship God in a place closer to them, as approved by the Church Administration,” Brother Dades explained.
The brethren residing in the condominium make up the Area 32 of the Templo Central Congregation.
“This extension, in the spirit of unity, will continue participating in the Church activities, especially the propagation of God’s words,” the district minister added.
The LIG Extension’s place of worship and offices are housed in a building in the center of the three towers of the LIG Condominium. The main hall, which is on the second floor, can accommodate 310 worshipers. The ground floor serves as the overflow and can seat 60 to 70 persons. The offices are on the third floor. — With assistance from Ron Talens and Central District Multimedia
