“Fulfilling. As someone working from home, I’ve less social interaction. Indeed, it’s refreshing, being able to bond with fellow Church members,” said Gingerlin Mangulabnan from the Local Congregation of Bulaon.
She summed up the common experience of those who attended the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Day hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga North, in the Philippines. It was held at the New Era University (NEU)-Pampanga Branch grounds, San Fernando City, Pampanga on May 31, 2025.
Attendees benefited from the Buklod Trade fair, Buklod Cares, KADIWA Meet and Greet, Binhi Friendship games, Pagsamba ng Kabataan (PNK) CFO Day, Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) Students Unity Camp, Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) Obstacle Challenge, Christian Employees Association (CEA) Free Legal Consultation and Notary, Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) Health Booth, and Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) interactive games that were all part of the activity. District supervising minister Brother Arnel Agorilla and wife Laura led its ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Aside from having fun in the prepared booths, those in attendance were able to avail of free services, such as medicines, vitamins, aid kits, reading glasses, and pre-loved clothes.
CEA officers led by district legal officer Brother Candido Mamucud Jr. gave free legal consultation and notarization of legal documents. “This is a big help, especially if our brethren might have legal problems but they do not know yet what and how to deal with it,” he said.
Choir members Lina Mallari from the Local Congregation of New Era and Cecilia Palcis from the Local Congregation of F. Manalo were happy to have free reading glasses. “Thank you so much for this. A great help,” said Palcis. — With reports from Sarah Serrano and Myrna Tinio of INC News Section
