“To further strengthen the love of brotherhood and camaraderie among the youth,” said the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Jomiel Gatchalian of the KADIWA Formal that was actively participated in by unmarried members ages 18 and up in the Local Congregation of Mariveles, Ecclesiastical District of Bataan South, in the Philippines. Dressed in their best attire, the attendees went to the Margie’s Place, Brgy. Balon Anito, Mariveles, Bataan on May 30, 2025, for the said activity.

Guided by resident minister Brother Nordelito Cabalhin, the program commenced with an opening prayer led by ministerial worker Brother Francis Rufo. It was followed by district supervising minister Brother Melvin Cayabyab’s opening remarks. He commended the youth for their zeal in serving God and encouraged them to continue doing so, among other commands that truly please God, rather than conforming to worldly cultures.

Afterwards, the youth enjoyed a musical presentation featuring INC original music performed by some of the congregation’s talented brethren. More than just having the opportunity to personally meet fellow members, they also engaged in various games and other activities, such as flower and card giving, organized by the congregation’s CFO officers. The event concluded with a dinner everyone enjoyed.

“Today’s activity was so much fun and truly memorable, especially because I was given the opportunity to meet fellow youth members in the congregation and share with them the things I’m interested in, including our current pursuits in life,” said Genesis Mallari.

Angela Diwa, the congregation’s KADIWA president and one of the event organizers, shared her thoughts: “I’m very happy with the event’s outcome. Prior to this initiative, we held meetings with fellow officers, delegated responsibilities, and most importantly, conducted devotional prayers for its success. Thankfully, God heard our prayers, enabling us to help edify our fellow youth’s faith and so bring glory and honor to Him.” — With reports from Paula Janine Dimaculangan of INC News Section
