The leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Saskatchewan, Canada inaugurated a group worship service (GWS) in the town of Kamsack in Saskatchewan through a special worship service held on June 8, 2025.
Held at Kamsack Comprehensive Institute grounds, the holy gathering was officiated at by the district supervising minister Brother Ramil H. Macaspac and was attended, along with the new GWS’s members, by brethren from neighboring local congregations.
“Having this inaugural worship service shows that no matter the condition of the world—ongoing hardships, calamities, social unrest everywhere—our Lord God continues being with His nation in these last days, blessing the Church’s entirety with parade of victories,” Brother Macaspac expressed in an interview afterwards.
After the study of God’s words, district edification overseer Brother Denis Salvante administered the oath-taking of the GWS’s pioneering set of officers.
One of them, the new GWS’s overseer, Reynan C. Yamson, said in an interview later, “This is a great blessing we received from the Lord God. He utilized the Church Administration to be instrumental in bringing about our GWS here.”
As approved by the Church Administration, Kamsack GWS conducts regular worship service at the Alejo’s Residence along 118 Harvey Street, Kamsack, Saskatchewan.
Evangeline Alejo, a deaconess and a newly sworn GWS finance officer said her family “felt very glad and blessed” in volunteering a part of their property to become the GWS’s place of worship.
“Back then, we needed to travel to attend worship services at Yorkton Congregation. There were times that we traveled almost three hours because of zero visibility on the road, also considering the wild animals crossing,” she said.
“To our beloved Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo and to our Deputy Executive Minister Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, on behalf of the ministers, ministerial workers, Church officers and all brethren here in the Ecclesiastical District of Saskatchewan, Canada, we thank you for approving the establishment of the Group Worship Service of Kamsack,” Brother Macaspac said in an interview. “We promise to do our very best in overseeing and safeguarding the faith of the brethren under our care.”— With reports from Eron Paul Monterde of INC News Section
