“To receive God’s blessings especially salvation on Judgment Day, remain firm in the faith.” Such exhortation of the Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for every member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), was relayed during a special worship service in the Ecclesiastical District of Capiz, Philippines held recently.
Sent by the Church Administration, Brother Eraño S. Codera, minister of the gospel, led the said occasion on June 22, 2025 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Roxas City, with 53 remote sites throughout the district connected via livestreaming.
Remaining firm in the faith will be possible when they continue doing what pleases God, Brother Codera explained. He then called on all Church officers to remain dedicated in fulfilling their duties to set good examples before the brethren under their care, so that no one will be left behind but all will receive salvation on Christ’s return.
“The sacred gathering has truly uplifted my faith and hope in the Lord God. No matter the circumstances, I will strive to live faithfully in His sight and devotedly fulfill my duties, so that I may be worthy of receiving the promised eternal life on Judgment Day,” said Ariel Mendoza, head deacon of the Local Congregation of Ivisan.
Paterno Lopez, who has served as caretaker of the Roxas City Congregation’s house of worship for 22 years now, expressed, “The lesson taught today has inspired me even more to fulfill my duty in caring for the house of worship. I know that as long as I remain committed to my duties, God will bless me and my entire family—especially with spiritual blessings, which we so need to remain in our divine calling.”
“On behalf of all the brethren in our district, we thank the Lord God for placing the Church Administration led by the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, who tirelessly oversees our spiritual well-being. We promise to remain united with him and to continue being active in the service of the Lord, so that we may please Him and be worthy of salvation on Christ’s Second Advent,” said district supervising minister Brother Raul Ysagun Sr.
