On April 19, 2024, the Church, through the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), held an evangelical mission for them at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Commonwealth in the Ecclesiastical District of Central. It was a joint endeavor by members of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) from the local congregations in the eight ecclesiastical districts of the Church in the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines.

Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo officiated at the evangelistic activity. He taught that there is no reason to lose hope despite the problems and sufferings people face in the world nowadays, for God prepares the Holy City where there will be no more sorrow, pain, crying, sickness, and even death. However, he expounded on the clear instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ that those who yearn to be saved must enter the fold—the Church Of Christ.

“I am thankful for despite our condition, the Church made sure that we will also have the hope of receiving God’s blessings,” expressed Chricel Caribo, one of the guests from the Local Congregation of Payatas in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City, who immediately decided to be enlisted as a doctrinal instructee. “I decided to join the Church Of Christ because I understood that it is what the Bible teaches as God’s nation in these last days that will be saved on Judgment Day.”

Even before the evangelical mission, the Church Administration makes sure that the spiritual needs, not only of the deaf but all of the differently abled, are catered with the help of the CSD.
