Approximately 42 kilometers away from the Iglesia Ni Cristo Central Office along Central Avenue, New Era, Quezon City, Philippines lies the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tunasan at E. Rodriguez Ave., Tunasan, Muntinlupa City. There, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo officiated a special worship service on May 19, 2024, reminding the brethren to strive to do all of God’s commandments for Christians as these are what pleases God.

During Brother Angelo Manalo’s lecture, he highlighted that obeying God’s commandments written in the Bible is timely now more than ever. He encouraged the brethren that, even if unrighteousness surrounds them, they must give full attention to what is truly important, which are God’s commandments. Doing so means training in holiness for them to eventually possess godly devotion. That is how the Church members please or glorify the Almighty God, for them to benefit from His promised blessings not only as they sojourn in this world but also on Judgment Day when they will receive salvation, blissful life, and eternal dwelling in the Holy City.

Established on April 23, 1988, the Tunasan Congregation has just reached its 36th anniversary 26 days prior to this momentous occasion led by Brother Angelo Manalo. Indeed, these were just some of the blessings for which they recently thanked God.

On April 22, 2024, the left wing of the Templo Central was filled with Christian Era Broadcasting Service International (CEBSI) volunteer workers, ministers, and ministerial workers, together with media panelists from the Philippines and abroad who connected via videostreaming, as they gathered for the CEBSI General Conference. This significant event marked a pivotal moment for CEBSI, as it embarked on a new phase of organizational restructuring and renewed focus on its core mission.

The highlight of the conference was the keynote address by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, CEBSI President, who outlined the detailed restructuring of CEBSI’s sections and introduced the ministers assigned to lead each section and its subsections. He emphasized that this restructuring aims to streamline workflows, enhance coordination, and improve overall efficiency within the organization. By clearly defining roles and responsibilities, CEBSI can better serve its mission and reach its goals.

Following Brother Angelo Manalo’s address, Brother Bienvenido C. Santiago, the Church’s General Evangelist, delivered a Bible-based lecture. His message focused on the importance of maintaining the integrity and purity of the content produced by CEBSI, whether for preaching or non-preaching programs. He encouraged the attendees to remain steadfast in what they have learned from the previous and current administrators of the Church and urged them not to be swayed by modern styles and priorities that could lead them astray from their true purpose.

Brother Santiago also emphasized that while it is important to stay current and relevant, it is equally crucial to uphold the principles and teachings that define the Church’s mission. His lecture reinforced the commitment to producing content that is faithful to the teachings of the Church and that resonates with the values it upholds.
