“All the Church duties are God’s gifts for the edification of the Church Of Christ members. Selected to fulfill various capacities, appointed officers must work in unity so that the body or Church Of Christ will reach spiritual maturity, and most of all, salvation,” said Thailand District assistant supervising minister Brother Edwin Estrellado.
He reminded such biblical truth to Church officers during a special gathering at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Bangkok that he officiated at on July 13, 2025. New officers were also present; they were sworn into office.
“I felt immense joy while I was taking oath. It is clear to me that prioritizing my duty will please the Lord God. I heeded the call of this office because I truly believe that it will lead me closer to God, and that He will not forsake me should trials beset my faith,” said newly-instated finance officer Kristine Joy Saan from the Local Congregation of Rangsit.
The officiating minister also cited from the Scriptures that those who dedicate themselves in serving the Lord God will never be on the losing end. God has a promise for the faithful who dutifully serve Him. He will be attentive to their prayers. He will come to their rescue should life becomes hard to bear.
“Brethren here in our district are one with the whole Church in remembering God’s unending care for us.This development is now among the many victories that God continues giving the Church Of Christ,” said ministerial worker Brother Clements Rex Dingil assigned in Sri Racha Group Worship Service. On their behalf, he added, “No matter what, we will never abandon our services to the Lord God.” — With reports from Glydel Domingo of INC News Section
