Showing care for the environment, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand united for a clean-up drive that was held at the coastal area of Laem Mae Phim Beach on August 1, 2025.

Thailand District assistant supervising minister Brother Edwin Estrellado led this socio-civic activity together with fellow ministers constituting the district leadership, such as Christian Family Organizations overseer Manuelito Bondoc, Light of Salvation overseer Brother Joel Salandanan, Church officers overseer Brother Reynaldo Bondoc, and district secretary Brother Azel Alcantara.

“We were excited upon learning that we’d be conducting this activity, considering the benefits it entails for the environment,” shared Rayong Congregation head deacon Joselito Mangabat. “As early as we can, we prepared all the cleaning materials to be used including our personal protective equipment,” he further stated.

District KADIWA president Alexis Jae Quebral grabbed the opportunity “to strengthen the brotherhood with my fellow KADIWA members in this activity while we’re being of help to the community.”

In an interview, Brother Manuelito narrated the importance of socio-civic activities being launched by the Church Administration: “Through these, we not only show our ability to care for others and our surroundings but most importantly, we exemplify the Christian value of doing good whenever we can, being commanded to us by God.” — With research assistance from Christian Angelo Cervantes and Lyndel Sibul
