“Church duties are great blessings from God which, when performed wholeheartedly, one pleases God, and assures one of receiving His help and mercy,” shared San Fernando Congregation bishop Eduardo Malonzo.

Malonzo was among those who attended the special gathering of Church officers in the Pampanga East Ecclesiastical District. It was held in San Fernando Congregation’s house of worship, and was beamed live in various houses of worship on July 29, 2025.

District supervising minister Brother Alex Lubao presided at the sacred gathering wherein he reminded the officers, through biblical verses, the importance of their Church duties. He reiterated that every time they perform their God-given duties, they continue being of help to the Church Administration for the edification of God’s nation, which truly gives glory to Him.

Brother Lubao then exhorted the attendees to obey what the Bible teaches them to do so that they can remain firmly upholding their duties despite the troubles and trials that they may face.

In the said gathering, 113 deacons and deaconesses were given certificates of recognition for their many years of service.

“I’m thankful for I have received God’s words. It has edified my faith, has inspired me to remain in the performance of my duties as a Church officer which is a great blessing from God,” stated Rogelio Masiclat, deacon and Children’s Worship Service teacher from San Fernando Congregation. — With reports from Erwin Paul Sarita and Melissa Jean Delos Santos of INC News Section
