Five days upon reaching their congregation’s 15th anniversary, brethren in the Local Congregation of Tala Estate, Ecclesiastical District of Caloocan North, in the Philippines, attended a special gathering highlighting such occasion at their house of worship on August 15, 2025.
District supervising minister Brother Ariel B. Barzaga officiated at the holy gathering. He emphasized during his Bible-based preaching the importance of having solid faith in facing challenges.
“Being one of the first members here in Tala Estate, I witnessed how the Lord God helped us through many trials. I still remember the times when were affected by severe flooding. During those instances, our faith was tested yet through His help, we were able to uphold and remain firm in our election,” narrated Marites Laput, a choir member for 33 years now.
The supervising minister also reminded the attendees that obedience to God’s commands is key to be stronger in the faith. As God knows what burdens them and He is always willing to help alleviate their plight, they must meet His expectation to obey all of His will.
“The zeal of the Church members here grows unhindered. It is because they are guided by words of the Lord God that the Church Administration teaches,” attested resident minister Brother Ysmael Quinto. On behalf of the brethren, he added, “A new year was added to the congregation, and so the faithful here promise to all the more be keen in obeying God no matter what we will encounter in life.” — With reports from Rowella Mariz Verzosa of INC News Section
