Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo officiated a worship service in the Local Congregation of Washington, Manila on February 8, 2025.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Angelo Manalo reminded the attendees that being among the ones whom the Lord Jesus Christ redeemed with His blood and were reconciled with God, they should always safeguard their membership in the Church. Thus, it is necessary for them to grow even more in the faith by holding on firmly to the Good News that is constantly taught to them during worship services. Furthermore, Brother Angelo Manalo emphasized the importance of living according to the words of the Lord God as this would make them more certain of receiving salvation. He also reminded the brethren to always draw near to God, with hearts full of faith, for God is always ready to help and save them.

Brother Oliver Wendel Luzara, resident minister of Washington Congregation, led the officers’ prayer. After the brethren’s heartfelt singing hymns of praises to God, Brother Leopoldo Jean Ricardo led the congregation in prayer. Then, Brother Angelo Manalo preached the pristine gospel to the brethren.

After the preaching of God’s words, Brother Joji Crisostomo led the congregation in a prayer. Then, Brother Jerson Hilario led the offertory prayer. The benediction was said by Brother Angelo Manalo.

‘Be wise, put aside our own desires,’ Antipolo brethren reminded

Brethren from the Antipolo Congregation received abundant spiritual blessings from God as their morning worship service on February 2, 2025 was officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Angelo Manalo pointed out that as time passes by, many people are becoming more focused on doing things which please only themselves, not God. In contrast, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), being God’s nation in these last days, ought to devote themselves evermore to pleasing Him by prioritizing His will over their own desires.

Brother Angelo Manalo emphasized from the Bible that for one to fulfill God’s commands, it is vital that he not only listens to God’s teachings but also wholeheartedly understands and puts all of them into practice. Such a member of God’s nation is considered wise, veering away from the sinful ways of many who do not listen to sound doctrine but, instead, are “looking for teachers who will tell them just what they want to hear” (II Tim. 4:3 Living Bible) or only those which satisfy their desires.

Brothers Carl Phillip Te and Daniel Aglipay Jr., ministers of the gospel assigned at the CFO office, led the prayers before and after the sermon, respectively. The offertory prayer was led by Brother Earl Gem Lacson, the Rizal District CFO overseer. Brother Angelo Manalo said the benediction.

A day before January 2025 came to a close, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo led the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members of the Local Congregation of San Francisco, Ecclesiastical District of Central in a worship service to God on January 30.

Citing the Holy Scriptures, Brother Angelo Manalo reminded the congregation that as recipients of God’s favor, we, His chosen people today, should prioritize pleasing Him through our obedience to His commandments, rather than seeking personal gratification.

The prayers before and after the sermon were led by Brother Diosdado F. Dades, the district supervising minister, and Brother Daniel L. Solano Jr., minister of the gospel, respectively. The benediction was said by Brother Angelo Manalo.

The Church members were grateful for the spiritual guidance they received that strengthened their hope and faith for them to be able to face the challenges that this new year brings.
