“Always be compassionate to the brethren entrusted to our care. Let us also stay being obedient to all of God’s will so that we may serve as role models to them.”

Thus said Bulacan North District supervising minister Brother Nepthalie Panes during the district-wide special gathering of Church officers that he officiated at San Miguel Congregation’s house of worship on October 7, 2025.

Officers from other local congregations convened at remote sites connected via videoconferencing, which were the houses of worship of the local congregations of Biga, Bulualto, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Pala Pala, San Ildefonso, and Sacdalan.

Right after the study of God’s words, district safety overseer Brother Ferdinand Alingeg administered the oath-taking of 189 new officers.

Among those who just took oath were husband and wife Rowel Christian and Mitz Wyomeire Lapuz, who are now district multimedia officer and local congregation chronicler, respectively, from the Local Congregation of Salangan.

“Fulfilling my duty is one among other ways to share God’s words to more people. Through it, I hope to please Him, I hope to be closer to God,” Rowel said. “Life in this world is full of troubles, but this duty I swore before God will always be my inspiration to keep going on, especially in my services to Him,” said Mitz.

Church officers who have counted years in fulfilling their duties were not remiss in sharing their zeal, such as Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society member Editha Ligaya De Jesus from the Local Congregation of Buga, who said, “For me, my Church duty is so important, my wealth, a treasure that God has given me. I feel so relieved whenever I fulfill it. I will hold it until the end.”

“The influx of officers is a great blessing, being an additional workforce as our district stay united with the Church Administration in taking care of the brethren, and encouraging them to remain active in our services to God so that come what may we will attain salvation,” said district Church officers overseer Brother Ruel Motilla. — Photos from Dennice Anne Rivera and Angel Cruz
