On April 23, 2025, members of the Sta. Lucia Congregation in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City gathered for a spiritually uplifting worship service led by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo.

During his Bible-based homily, Brother Angelo Manalo emphasized the importance of having unwavering devotion to God at all times. Echoing the apostles’ teachings, he reminded the brethren to focus their lives on faithfully following God’s commandments, which is truly pleasing to Him.

Brother Angelo Manalo also urged the congregation to be spiritually vigilant, that is, always be wary of the devil’s deceptive schemes, such as worldly distractions and temptations, for these will weaken their faith. In a time when people are surrounded by sinful influences and increasingly decadent moral standards, Brother Angelo Manalo emphasized the importance of standing firm in the faith. He reminded Church members not to let anything lead them away from their divine calling.

The brethren left the house of worship strengthened in the faith and resolved to continue serving God with focus and vigilance amid life’s challenges.

Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo continues to assist the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, in uplifting the faith of the brethren. On April 16, 2025, Brother Angelo Manalo officiated at a worship service in the Local Congregation of Punta, Ecclesiastical District of Manila.

Brother Marlone Ballason led the prayer after the congregation rendered praises to God through hymn-singing. Then, Brother Angelo Manalo preached the words of God. In his Bible-based homily, he reminded the brethren of the importance of their divine election. Being God’s chosen people in these last days, they are the ones whom He has promised to receive salvation on Judgment Day. They must always trust in, lean on, and rely on the Lord God by doing what is good—His commandments written in the Bible.

Moreover, the CFO Coordinator emphasized the importance of always worshiping God and finding joy in obeying His teachings. Before concluding his sermon, Brother Angelo Manalo exhorted the brethren to make as their conviction to always give God first place in their lives by carefully obeying His teachings.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Highway Hills, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East, were reminded to seek refuge in God at all times during the worship service officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo on April 9, 2025.

Before the homily, Brother Gerino S. Lalata, district supervising minister, led the congregation in a prayer of thanksgiving.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Angelo Manalo encouraged everyone to taste and see the goodness of the Lord, just as what God’s ancient servants, such as Noah, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets did. Despite facing severe trials, persecutions, and powerful enemies, they sought refuge in God. In return, God blessed their lives with long and prosperous years.

Brother Angelo Manalo concluded the lesson by exhorting the brethren in attendance to continue doing what pleases God. He inspired them with an assurance that, in doing so, God will bless them not only with a long and prosperous life, but more importantly, salvation at the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Afterwards, Brother Daniel Solano Jr. led the congregation in a heartfelt and earnest prayer.

Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo officiated at a worship service to God in the Local Congregation of Concepcion, Ecclesiastical District of Marikina, on April 6, 2025.

Marikina District supervising minister, Brother Cyrus Jose E. Dizon, led the congregants in the opening prayer. Then, Brother Angelo Manalo taught in his Bible-based lecture that Church Of Christ members must fight for their faith for them to be able to continue to please God and be worthy of salvation come Judgment Day.

They can do this by refraining from doing evil deeds and resisting the devil and his schemes. Otherwise, as the CFO Coordinator reiterated from the Scriptures, they would fall back into committing sins, which is much worse than having never known the truth of salvation at all.

Although they are imperfect, God’s people must cease from committing sin and immediately return to Him if ever they fall into some wrongdoing. Through the Bible, Brother Angelo Manalo then emphasized the importance of devotedly worshiping God to keep their faith strong. After all, the true worship of Him opens doors to all of His goodness and His words impart understanding of what pleases Him.

After the CFO Coordinator’s preaching of God’s words, Brother Melencio Marcos Jr. led the brethren in a heartfelt prayer. Afterwards, Brother Jake Jambaro, the district CFO overseer, led the prayer for the offerings.

Strengthening one’s faith
is pleasing to God

More than three months after the dedication of their 930-seater house of worship, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Local Congregation of Carreon Village, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City, received another great blessing for the upliftment of their faith. On March 29, 2025, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the CFO Coordinator, led them in a worship service to God.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Angelo Manalo reminded the brethren of the ultimate goal of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for the Church: that every member be able to please God for them to be worthy of receiving His blessings in this life, especially salvation on Judgment Day. Brother Angelo Manalo taught that one of the biblical ways to please God is for members to strengthen their faith. Quoting Christ’s parable in Luke 8:12–14, he made the brethren aware of various wiles the devil employs to ruin their faith. One such deception is making people believe that acquiring material things alone is what will make them “happy in this life.”

But the true servants’ noble aim is to please God, Brother Angelo Manalo iterated. As God’s people, they find delight and happiness in fulfilling His commandments. That is why, even if a Church member is offered an opportunity—a dream job for example—no matter how lucrative it may be, if such will lead them to neglecting their services to God and worse, forgetting Him, then that is not God-given at all.

The brethren must choose to do what is good and right which are God’s words written in the Bible, Brother Angelo Manalo highlighted. By obeying all of His will, they remain strong in the faith; thus, they all the more please God.
