Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) officers in the Ecclesiastical District of South Korea had their faith strengthened during their special gathering on October 26, 2025.
The officers from local congregations and group worship services in Seoul assembled at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Ansan, which serve as the main site. Those from the southern part of the district joined via videoconferencing.
District Church officers overseer Brother Resty Bugarin officiated at the holy gathering. In his homily, he urged the attendees to acquire and develop the qualities of those gifted Church offices and to remain united with the Church Administration, particularly in the sharing of the faith, to give glory and honor to the Almighty God.
After the sermon, Brother Bugarin administered the oath-taking of 89 newly appointed officers. This was followed by a prayer of gratitude and promise by district treasurer Brother Benhur Sabado.
“A Church duty is a great blessing from God. That is why whatever happens, I will trust in Him completely. I will wholeheartedly fulfill this office I’ve sworn to uphold,” said Freylin Joy Pranada from the Local Congregation of Paju-Si who was among those newly sworn TSV officer.
Another one from the same congregation, Kriselle Davelene Agustin said, “I accepted this duty out of love for and faith in God for it is a gift from Him. Though my technical knowledge is limited, but I trust in Him, that may He grant the qualities that I need.” She added, “Having a Church duty is a way to grow closer to God. I firmly believe that as long as I fulfill it devotedly, He will grant me blessings.” — With assistance from Chris Antonette Pugay
