The Ecclesiastical District of Orange County, California held a series of activities on October 18, 19 and 25, 2025. These were the special meeting of Church officers, baptism, and a blood donation drive, respectively.
Officers’ meeting, oath-taking
District supervising minister Brother Hanzl De Dios led the special meetings of Church officers from the Local Congregations of Anaheim and Long Beach on October 18 and 19, respectively. Also on October 19, assistant district supervising minister Brother Joel Narciso led a similar event with the Local Congregation of Montclair. In their Bible-based preaching, both emphasized the importance of holding Church duties, being God-given gifts, and striving to be effective leaders to the brethren entrusted to their care. Over all, a total of 61 new officers took oath of duty during these gatherings.
“I felt very blessed to have taken oath as Technical Support for Videostreaming (TSV) lead officer. With this opportunity I hope to continually please our Almighty God,” shared Jan Mig Petil from Long Beach Congregation.
“Accepting a duty is truly a great blessing from the Lord God,” shared newly-sworn Buklod officer Danielle Prodigalidad from Cerritos Congregation. “It motivates me to give my best to God, while helping the brethren to be stronger in their faith.”
Baptism
New converts have become full-fledged members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on October 25, 2025 at the Montclair Congregation house of worship.
Brother De Dios, who officiated the baptismal gathering, reiterated to the baptismal candidates that it is important to receive the true baptism in order to be saved come the Day of Judgment and thereby receive the everlasting life in the Holy City.
“Inside the Church Of Christ, I feel that I found my life’s meaning,” expressed newly-baptized Jovik Del Rosario from Anaheim Congregation. “I will always be active in the Church. I will hold a Church duty,” he added.
Afterwards, the newly-baptized members were congratulated by their brethren via the ‘Welcome, My Brethren’ activity.
Blood donation drive
On the same day and venue, a blood donation activity was organized by the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMPDS) officers. Over 56 bags of blood, equivalent to 28,000 cc of blood, were collected with the collaboration of the LifeStream Blood Bank, which was also the event’s beneficiary.
This socio-civic activity has been “definitely an opportunity to be of help, while having the body strengthened upon donating blood,” attested registered nurse and CMDPS president Alice Medina of Garden Grove Congregation.
