Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East commemorated the 15th anniversary of their district through a concert which was held at the EGM Hall of EVM Convention Center, Central Avenue, Culiat, Quezon City, Philippines on November 9, 2025.
The district leadership and Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers spearheaded the event.
“The brethren, aside from being joyful, gained renewed inspiration from hearing the will of the Almighty God conveyed through music,” explained district CFO overseer Brother Mark Malicat.
The brethren watched performances of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music after Brother Gerino Lalata, district supervising minister, gave his opening remarks. The pieces include Sumampalataya, Magtiwala, Umasa sa ating Diyos (Believe, Trust, and Hope in Our God), Sa Iyo ay Lalapit (To You We Will Draw Near), Pag-asa Nati’y Magaganap (Our Hope Will Be Fulfilled), Have Faith, Ikinararangal Ko (I Am Proud To Be), Matagumpay na Namamahala sa Iglesia (Triumphantly Administering the Church), Share It With The World, and Ganiyan Tayo sa Loob ng Iglesia Ni Cristo (That is How We Are in the Church Of Christ). As the finale, all performers showcased the song Tutupad Pa Rin (We Will Still Perform).
“Despite our busy schedules, we held practices every week. We strive to maintain a continuous, steady rhythm of rehearsals,” shared choir member Jaye Bolima from the Local Congregation of Tipas on behalf of her fellow performers.
“This musical event will be a great source of added zeal for brethren in various local congregations across the district. It’s a joy to use the talent the Lord God has given me to strengthen the faith of the members,” she added.
“I’m happy that the anniversary of the district has arrived,” shared Buklod member Anna Baesa from the Local Congregation of Pinagsama.
“Our district is grateful to the Almighty God, Who, through our beloved Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, and our Deputy Executive Minister Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, has guided our district through the years,” Brother Lalata said. “We celebrate the help and mercy of the Lord God. To God be all the glory.”
One of the nine ecclesiastical districts in the National Capital Region, Metro Manila East was established in October 2010. Other anniversary-related activities have been slated including a socio-civic activity.
“The event was inspiring. Led by our district supervising minister, the overall gathering was well-managed and served to strengthen the faith of the brethren,” observed ministerial worker Brother Gideon AJ Doromal assigned in the Pinagsama Congregation. — With assistance from district multimedia
