The newly built 200-seater house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sofronio Española in Barangay Pulot Center, Sofronio Española, Palawan, Philippines was dedicated to God on November 28, 2025, during a special worship service led by Palawan South Ecclesiastical District supervising minister Brother Carlo Francisco.
The house of worship is equipped with modern amenities, including LED TVs, LED wall, a CCTV camera system, an organ, a generator set, as well as a parsonage and office spaces.
During the study of God’s words, Brother Francisco emphasized the importance of building houses of worship in strengthening the brethren’s faith and, above all, in giving glory to the Lord God. He encouraged the congregants to take good care of their house of worship and to be even more dedicated in fulfilling their duties so that God may provide them blessings not only in this life but even in the life to come.
“I am truly grateful to the Lord God for granting us this modern and beautiful house of worship through the care of our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. For many years, the brethren in our congregation have earnestly prayed for a place like this. By God’s mercy, we now have a more fitting and enhanced house of worship where we can continue serving and glorifying Him,” expressed head deacon Domingo Tejada.
“God is truly good. He heard our prayers and blessed us with an improved house of worship. Since our area is prone to flooding, this new house of worship was built in such a way that the floodwaters will no longer reach it. It now stands grandly in our community, inspiring us all to keep fulfilling our duties earnestly,” expressed Manny Pabinal, a deacon and civil engineer.
“On behalf of all the brethren in our congregation, we thank the Lord God for answering our prayers to have a new house of worship through the Church Administration. This new edifice has truly inspired and strengthened the faith of the brethren. We promise to take care of it and value it greatly, for it is meant to glorify the Lord God,” enthused resident minister Brother Joselito Lomo. —With reports from Jhoan Almojera
