On November 29, 2025, a total of 243 Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers from all the 23 local congregations of the Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga Del Norte, in the Philippines, gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Punta for a three-pronged event.
As its title “CFO Local Officers Pulong Seminar at Dialogue” signified, this event spearheaded by the district CFO overseer Brother Wilson Aswe and the district multimedia adviser Brother Rey Mark Eguia engaged the attendees in three main parts, namely, meeting, seminar, and dialogue.
The dialogue involved the presidents of the Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi, Society of Communicators and Networkers International, Christian Brotherhood International, Christian Employees Association, and Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society. Led by Brother Jeff De Guia, minister of the gospel from the CFO Office, they discussed about the CFO activities set to be held throughout next year.
Brother De Guia also led the seminar that followed. He relayed to all the rest of the officers regarding the activities he and the presidents planned and discussed about earlier.
Lastly, Brother Leo Villanueva, a minister of the gospel also from the CFO Office, presided over the meeting or pulong. It was mainly a review and assessment of the district’s CFO activities from January to October this year.
Afterwards, Brother Villanueva delivered a Bible-based lecture urging the officers to uphold their dedication to respective duties and be of great help to the Church Administration in looking after their brethren’s spiritual welfare, for the Lord reserves a great reward if they do so.
“This activity is so important as it helps strengthen the bond among Church officers from various local congregations,” said Polanco Congregation KADIWA president, Elmie Mundoy. “Through this also, we have learned how we can lead the brethren towards further activeness.”
“While being instrumental in enhancing proper coordination among Church officers, this event has also served as a bonding moment as many not only strengthened friendships but found new ones,” said district Buklod president Jonshon Cabigon.
