TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the thanksgiving worship service commemorating the 111th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, conducted a pastoral visitation to the Local Congregation of Doña Faustina Housing, Ecclesiastical District of Central in the Philippines on July 12, 2025 to lead them in a worship service to God.
The first time the Executive Minister officiated a special worship in the said congregation was on June 17, 2018 when he led the dedication of its house of worship. That time, the edifice had a seating capacity of 256. Concurrent to that event was the ordination of two ministers of the gospel. About six years after, in January 2024, three additional residential buildings were built within the housing community of the congregation’s namesake to accommodate more ministers and ministerial workers at the Church’s Central Office and their respective families. Thus, with its rise comes the influx of more members being registered in the congregation.
Remarkably, the recent visit of the Executive Minister to the local congregation was the first time a worship service was held right after its house of worship underwent renovation and expansion that took about a year. Equipped with a Johannus organ, new and upgraded CCTV system, sound system, aircon units, it was renovated into a 350-seater house of worship.
After the opening prayer led by Central District supervising minister Brother Diosdado F. Dades, Brother Eduardo Manalo emphasized using the Bible how timely it is to constantly uphold what is right and honorable—God’s will written in the Bible. With Judgment Day so very near, it is just proper for Church members to live honorably by making sure that everything they do is in accordance with God’s will. They ought to fight the good fight in living the Christian faith and never letting go of their Church membership in order to attain salvation.
Through the Holy Scriptures, the Executive Minister also emphasized the necessity of being careful on how God’s true servants live, which is by upholding the complete renewal of life and never letting themselves to be influenced by the sinful world. Doing so, they live up to God’s expectation, thereby continuously pleasing Him.
Brother Eduardo Manalo reminded the brethren to keep their faith in and love of God true. During challenging times, they ought to be calm yet resolute—ever persevering as proof of their unwavering unity with the Church Administration’s aim of praising God until the end.
Brother Romer D. Galang led the prayer after the Executive Minister’s sermon. Brother Glicerio P. Santos IV led the prayer for the voluntary offerings. The benediction was said by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the Church’s Deputy Executive Minister.
