“I’m happy that I can now truly serve the one true God, the Almighty Father in heaven, Who created all things,” enthused newly baptized Jomark Francisco Jr. from Queensrow Congregation.
Francisco was one of the 73 baptismal candidates who received baptism at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Noveleta, Ecclesiastical District of Cavite, on December 13, 2025.
During the sacred occasion, assistant district supervising minister Brother Larry Failano delivered a Bible-based lesson. He reminded the candidates for baptism to uphold until the end the God-given blessing of their becoming Church members, having been granted the right to serve and worship God and thereby receive salvation on Judgment Day.
Speaking about the significance of baptism in the true Church, Brother Failano emphasized, “People are granted by God a divine election, being counted among His chosen people in these last days.” He further encouraged the newly baptized to share what they have learned, “from Bible doctrines to the lessons in worship services,” with those who are not yet members of the Church, so that they, too, may receive salvation.
After the study of God’s words was the candidates’ taking oath of membership and actual immersion into the water that were administered by district Church officers overseer Brother Philip Fernandez and fellow ministers of the gospel, respectively. — With assistance from Rose Ann Ramallosa
