Amid and against a permissive world, the Administration of the led by the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, works hard to ensure that the members’ spiritual welfare is well taken care of. In close supervision of their services to God, the Church Administration effectively guides them toward enthusiastic participation in various edification works, leading to their full growth in the faith and ultimately to securing the promised salvation.
This is embodied in the theme for the activities of the Church in its 111th year: No matter what happens, let us serve God so we will receive salvation.
The oath-taking of Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo as the Church’s Deputy Executive Minister served as this year’s highlight of Brother Eduardo Manalo’s edification thrusts. The historic event, livestreamed to 2,172 houses of worship all over the world, was held during the Executive Minister’s pastoral visitation to the Local Congregation of Navotas, Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA, on May 31, 2025. The Executive Minister administered the oath-taking of Brother Angelo Manalo, whose election as the Deputy Executive Minister took place during the Special Meeting of the Church Council five days earlier, on May 26.

The Executive Minister personally uplifted the brethren in their faith, as he has always done. He conducted regular pastoral visitations, not minding threats and dangers that might be lurking along the way because of his genuine love and concern for the Lord’s flock. His dedication to duty that the brethren saw, his powerful preachings of God’s words and graced-filled officiation at the worship service of every local congregation and district he visited provided the brethren the spiritual strength and inspiration to carry on a pious life and ardent service of the Lord to cement their hope for the nearing salvation.

With the Church’s welfare always his primary concern, Brother Eduardo Manalo is not remiss during his pastoral visitations in inspiring more young men of the faith to aspire becoming ministers of the gospel and be of help in looking after the ever-growing flock. To those who heeded such a noble call, their selfless efforts were not in vain. After years of rigorous studies through the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers, and being assigned to local congregations, among other various capacities, they have received God’s blessing of being full-fledged ministers through the laying on of hands by the Executive Minister. As of this writing, a total of 381 new ministers were ordained this year.

Also part of watching over the spiritual welfare of the members and officers alike, the leadership of every ecclesiastical district likewise scheduled special gatherings for them. During such sacred occasions usually officiated by the district ministers, they received biblical counsel that served as their guide to properly fulfill their Church duties and uphold their divine election. In some of these gatherings, the oath-taking of additional officers in various departments were administered.
Spearheading the conduct of this edification activity was Brother Angelo Eraño Manalo. On January 5, 2025, four months prior to his becoming the Deputy Executive Minister, he officiated a special gathering of Church officers held in the Central Temple in Quezon City. The momentous event was streamed to various sites around the world.
