As its way of helping alleviate the plight of those affected by the recent severe flooding in Thailand caused by the intensified northern monsoon, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), through its Felix Y. Manalo Foundation and the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand, provided relief packages on December 5, 2025.

Together with fellow ministers constituting the district leadership, district supervising minister Brother Willen D. Regalado and assistant supervising minister Brother Edwin Estrellado led the district Christian Family Organizations officers in the giving of 100 gallons of drinking water, 100 boxes of biscuits, 50 boxes each of noodles and cup noodles, 30 cartons of UHT milk, 6 cartons of sardines, and 4 boxes of bath soap, among others. Its turnover to the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) was held at the National Aviation Museum of the RTAF, where all other reliefs were collected for distribution to flood-hit communities.

Through the RTAF, the INC will thus be able to send aid to the residents of eight affected provinces in the Southern Region of Thailand, namely, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phatthalung, Satun, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat.

It could be recalled that “since November 17, the northeast monsoon has intensified over the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, causing widespread flood across the southern region due to intermittent heavy rainfall” (reliefweb.int). This severe flooding was thus brought about by “the heaviest rain in 300 years,” according to the country’s Royal Irrigation Department.

“As guided and instructed by our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, we aimed through this holy endeavor to be of help to our fellowmen in need,” said Brother Estrellado.

“There are a lot of very happy reactions, especially from the officers [RTAF] who are helping with this activity for the sake of those severely affected by the flood,” observed Charles Lorilla from Rangsit Congregation.
