THE LORD GOD expects His chosen ones to always do good or obey all His commandments written in the Bible. He wants them to willingly obey with sincerity of heart, soul, and whole being―serving Him no matter what for them to attain salvation.
This was emphasized in the Bible-based teaching of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, during his pastoral visit to the Local Congregation of Templo Central in the Ecclesiastical District of Central on July 26, 2025. The holy occasion not only highlighted the congregation’s Thanksgiving worship service for the 111th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) but also the brethren’s commemoration of their congregation’s 77th anniversary, the 41st anniversary of the dedication of the Central Temple in Quezon City, Philippines, and the ordination of 36 ministerial workers as ministers of the gospel.
During his sermon, the Executive Minister stated that the theme for the Church Of Christ’s activities for its 111th year will be: “No Matter What Happens, Let Us Serve God So We Will Attain Salvation.”
Brother Diosdado F. Dades, Central Ecclesiastical District supervising minister, led the opening prayer before the Executive Minister’s sermon. Brother Romer D. Galang led the closing prayer. Brother Bienvenido C. Santiago administered the oath-taking of the ordinands. Brother Arnel R. Canicosa led the congregation in prayer after the laying on of hands by the Executive Minister. The prayer for the voluntary offerings was led by Brother Glicerio P. Santos IV and the benediction was said by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the Deputy Executive Minister.
