The Ecclesiastical District of Queensland, Australia opened the Sunshine Coast Group Worship Service (GWS) on January 4, 2026, through its inaugural worship service. District supervising minister Brother Orlando V. Macayan officiated at the holy gathering.
The said occasion was held at Caboolture Senior Citizens Hall, Queensland, Australia; Sunshine GWS’s succeeding worship services will be at an events venue located along 4 Tamarind Street, Meridan Plains, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
Congregants of the said GWS are originally enlisted in the Local Congregation of Caboolture, almost 50 kilometers from Sunshine Coast. Resident minister Brother Mark Reniel Kiseo said in an interview afterwards that this development is “a great and timely blessing for the members in Sunshine Coast.” He added, “Having a place of worship near them will further bolster their faith and zeal in participating in all the Church’s works. These are all for God’s glory.”
“The brethren in Sunshine Coast are thankful to the Lord God for always hearing their pleas, such as having a place of worship near them. They can now all the more help in the works of the Church as they truly aim to please the Lord God,” attested Brother Macayan on behalf of the congregation. — With assistance from Emmi Tarroja
