Simultaneous evangelical missions in the Ecclesiastical District of Caloocan North were held on January 9, 2026. The venues were the local congregations’ houses of worship. Ministers of the gospel were assigned to preach a Scripture-based lesson on how man can be saved on Judgment Day.

The district’s Light of Salvation office reported that more than 5,500 guests attended throughout the district.

On his part, district supervising minister Brother Ariel B. Barzaga led the evangelical mission that was held at the Local Congregation of Bagong Silang 5. In an interview afterwards, he said, “The best way to start the new year is for Christians to be seen ever zealous in the Church’s works. The brethren made effort to bring guests for them to know about biblical truths. This is in obedience to God’s will.”

Brother Barzaga exhorted the attendees to observe the extraordinary events in the world at present. He taught from the Bible that these are the signs of the nearing end. He then read from the Scriptures how one can secure their own salvation. Amid the large number of religions today, the Bible teaches that salvation can only be attained in the true Church Of Christ.

A guest in Bagong Silang 5, Charlita Bonifacio who is a Catholic said, “I truly believe that God’s words are written in the Bible. The one who taught preached purely from the Scriptures. I think this shows that this Church does what God wills.”

“It is true that people belong to various beliefs and churches. But as the minister read from the Bible, people can truly serve God inside the Church Of Christ. It was made clear how this Church is the only true Church taught in the Bible,” said Maribel Garcia, a guest who attended the proclamation of God’s words at the Local Congregation of Saranay which was officiated by assistant district supervising minister Brother Erman Bendicio.

Along with hundreds more, Garcia and Bonifacio expressed their desire to become Bible students in the Church. — With assistance from Bryan Langit and Alyssa Matarlo
