Part of the activities held in commemoration of the 102nd anniversary of the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga North, a medical mission was held in the compound grounds of the Local Congregation of Dolores Porac on January 18, 2026.

District supervising minister Brother Arnel Agorilla and district Christian Family Organization overseer Brother Ynad Pascual graced the activity with their presence. District officers of Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) and Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) joint efforts in facilitating the event that benefited nearly a hundred people, including children.

Internal medicine cardiologist Dr. Madelaine Palmea led fellow medical practitioners—dentist Dr. Liza Barrion, registered nurses Robert Cuenca, Heart Ocampo, Shayne Pascual, and caregiver Arlene Alvarado—in offering free health services.

Beneficiaries first underwent health screenings, such as blood pressure check, body mass index or BMI, random blood sugar test, and dental consultation. There was also a distribution of maintenance medicine to those in need, and a seminar for children on proper toothbrushing.

“Due to the high cost of consultations at private institutions, there were those who said that they’re hesitant to get check-ups. Upon knowing that they could avail it for free, brethren and even nonmembers anticipated this activity. It’s fulfilling to see them here,” said Dr. Palmea.

“Having made them aware of their own health, there were those who completed all medical examinations to know how they can better take care of themselves,” observed registered nurse Heart Ocampo, who is also a choir member.

“I’m very grateful for this activity that has been of help both to Iglesia Ni Cristo members and nonmembers who were invited here and other Church activities. Through this activity, we can all the more use our life and strength especially in serving the Lord God which is pleasing to Him,” said head deacon Emiliano Ignacio. — With assistance from Carl Arceo
