For this year’s first month, or period, two batches of baptismal candidates, 134 in all, from the Ecclesiastical District of Nueva Vizcaya reached the much-anticipated day of their formal admission to the Church.

The first batch were baptized on January 17, 2026  and the last on the 24, both at the house of worship of the Solano Congregation.

District supervising minister Brother Randy Bauto officiated at the baptismal gathering on the first date, while assistant district supervising minister Brother Daniel Agabao a week after. Each minister during their respective homilies encouraged the baptismal candidates to remain active Church members until the end to be saved on Judgment Day.

“I rejoice for being able to truly serve God with a heart full of hope in His promised salvation,” enthused former Catholic Jetmark Durato from Sinafal Congregation.

“My heart overflows with thanksgiving to God for guiding me to the true faith. I promise to serve Him faithfully all my life,” said Arthoro Gonzales from Boliwao Congregation, who is also a former Catholic.

“It is God’s will written in the Bible that man must first have the right to serve God to receive salvation come Judgment Day,” said district Light of Salvation overseer Brother Randy Llagas. On behalf of the brethren from the district, he added, “We will continue being united with the Church Administration in continuously propagating God’s words.”
