Youth officers, from the district to local level, in the Ecclesiastical District of Central convened for their KADIWA Formal that was held at the fifth floor of the New Era University School of Management in Quezon City, Philippines on January 25, 2026.

The event brought together KADIWA district officers, congregation presidents and vice presidents, and secretaries. It was aimed at “strengthening the bond and cooperation among KADIWA leaders, present clear plans and activities, and inspire officers to remain steadfast in faith and service, thus, becoming examples to their fellow brethren,” said KADIWA district president Mikhail Genesis Lapira. “It’s also an opportunity for celebration, being a good initiative to begin the year,” he added.

The program began with the singing of the KADIWA hymn, then a prayer and opening remarks by KADIWA district vice president John Michael Ponsica. He emphasized the importance of unity in fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to the youth organization. Afterwards, an audiovisual presentation was shown, featuring the KADIWA’s achievements in the past year, even including the activities that will be held this year.

Attendees were treated to a sumptuous dinner with live entertainment, as selected brethren sing their rendition of INC original music such as “Ikaw Ang Inspirasyon (You Are The Inspiration),” “Ama, Kami Ay Sa Iyo Pa Rin (Father, We Are Still Yours),” and “Ikaw Ang Hiling (You Are What I Prayed For).” A lively game segment, “Category Quickfire,” engaged participants in friendly competition, further strengthening camaraderie among officers.

“I’m excited to gain experiences that can be applied in our local congregation … share with my brethren … so that our relationship can deepen,” shared KADIWA vice president Vincent Sarvida from Bonifacio Drive Congregation.

From the same congregation, KADIWA president Ezekiel Geronimo, shared, “I’m happy that there’s such an activity for officers. It’s a different experience that teaches me well so that I can better care for my fellow youth brethren, and most especially, to unite with the activities launched by the Church Administration.”

The event concluded with closing remarks and a prayer led by district Christian Society for the Deaf overseer Brother Rodrigo Solver. “The activity stood as a testament to the commitment of the KADIWA officers in our district. With renewed strength and unity, youth officers look forward to continue fulfilling their duties this year, guided by faith in God and love for the brethren,” he said. — With assistance from Eralyn Pabilona
