More than 4,000 copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine were distributed to Biñan City residents by Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members of the Ecclesiastical District of Sta. Rosa City, Laguna on February 21, 2026.
This was part not only of their intensified evangelistic efforts to have the true gospel of salvation reach as many people as possible as the Bible mandates but also to commemorate the 87th anniversary of the Church’s official publication.
Sta. Rosa City, Laguna District supervising minister Brother Ricardo E. Alipio, with the assistance of fellow members of the district leadership, oversaw the propagation activity. “Biñan City is historical for us as this was the first place here in Laguna that the Church was able to reach, with Tubigan and Dela Paz as the province’s first congregations,” he said.
Brethren from each of the district’s clusters of congregations—Cabuyao, Sta. Rosa, San Pedro, and Biñan—first gathered in the Biñan City Congregation’s house of worship for prayer and final instructions. They then went their way to handing out Pasugo magazines to the neighborhoods or areas assigned to their respective clusters.
Everyone who received a copy was also invited to Bible studies conducted in missionary centers of local congregations nearby. One of them, a Catholic who introduced herself as Gloria Guico said, “It’s nice to have a copy of this magazine. I’ll surely read this.” Another one who said her name was Rosemarie Gregorio and has been listening to the Church’s teachings for some time, decided “to undergo the process of joining the Church Of Christ as it has been my desire to do so in a few years back.”
After the Pasugo drive, Biñan Congregation choir member Elma Dumdum was recognized for handing out the most copies of the magazine to nonmembers. “This is one of the ways I can be of help to the Church Administration in sharing the true faith,” she said.— With assistance from Jensen DG.
