On February 13, 2026, all local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East, in the Philippines, held evangelical missions in their respective houses of worship, drawing a total of 7,807 guests.

District supervising minister Brother Gerino Lalata and assistant district supervising minister Brother Herbert Lazala led the Bible study at the Highway Hills and Ugong local congregations, respectively. Their fellow ministers with the district leadership and a number of resident ministers preached the pure gospel at the rest of the congregations.

During the study of God’s words, the presiding ministers expounded on the truth that joining the Church Of Christ is inevitable in receiving salvation on Judgment Day, as taught in the Holy Scriptures.

“Prior to this major evangelistic effort, the brethren in all local congregations, led by their respective resident ministers and ministerial workers assigned in each area, conducted intensive preparations. They handed out Pasugo: God’s Message magazines, pamphlets, and invitations,” said Brother Christian Perez, the district Light Of Salvation (LOS) overseer. “And indeed God answered our prayers; more than seven thousand individuals attended the evangelical missions.”

In an interview after the Bible study, one of the guests of the Taguig Congregation named Zhairenz Prince Cruz said, “I’ve learned the Church Of Christ’s significance towards attaining salvation. For this reason, I decided to continue studying the doctrines upheld by the INC.”

“My effort to attend this event wasn’t wasted,” a guest of the Ugong Congregation by the name of Roselyn Geraldez shared. “The INC members were welcoming, and the lesson was purely from the Holy Scriptures and not merely opinions.”

Meanwhile, a certain Rhazel Joyce Catibag who attended at the Ilugin Congregation, said, “I am grateful to have been invited to the evangelical mission of the INC. I observed that the event was well-organized and the lesson was clear. I’m looking forward to attending more of the INC’s activities.”

“On behalf of the brethren, Church officers, ministers and ministerial workers, we are grateful to the Lord God for the success of the event, and we are hopeful that after these evangelical missions, more people will continue to search for the truth,” Brother Lalata said.
