The work of propagation in the Ecclesiastical District of Bay Area California continues to reap fruits. This was reflected once again in a baptismal gathering held on February 20, 2026 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Pablo officiated at by the district supervising minister Brother Serginio Bayani.

After his homily, baptismal candidates took their oath of membership with the assistant district supervising minister Brother Reuel del Rosario leading them. Then, Brother Virgilio del Rosario Jr., minister assigned at the Local Congregation of Burlingame, baptized them.

“Today is my holy baptism. I feel overflowing with joy and happiness to be starting a new life with the Church Of Christ, and I’m so thankful to God for that,” said newly baptized member Jonathan Quattlebaum from Burlingame Congregation. “Now that I’m a member of the Church Of Christ, I will become even more active in my services to God and firm in the faith to give glory and honor unto Him,” he added.

Burlingame Congregation Light of Salvation secretary Josephine Genova, the one who introduced Quattlebaum to the Church, said, “I’m happy because I can attest as to how Jonathan firmly believes in the biblical teachings upheld in the Church, more so now that he’s been baptized.”

“It’s God’s mercy. He understood the doctrines and have faith in them,” said Brother Virgilio del Rosario Jr. who was instrumental in teaching Quattlebaum the Church’s fundamental teachings written in the Bible.

After the baptism, a “Welcome My Brethren” activity was held to introduce to the newly baptized brethren the Christian Family Organizations in the Church that they respectively belong to. — With reports from Sophia Trigonis
