CWS members from Murphy Congregation, Ecclesiastical District of Central, in the Philippines, took part in a Heritage Tour held on February 22, 2026. The children were accompanied by their parents as well as Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teachers and officers.
After a prayer at their congregation’s house of worship, the group headed to the INC Museum in Punta, Sta. Ana, Manila where the former house of worship of Punta Congregation—the Church’s first local congregation—is located. Afterwards, they proceeded to F. Manalo-San Juan house of worship compound where the former Central Office of the Church was also located. Finally, they visited the INC Museum along Central Avenue in Quezon City.
“By having activities like this, young members of the Church develop a deeper understanding about the Church during its early years—including the persecution that Brother Felix Manalo and the pioneer members endured—and how God upheld His people,” explained CWS teacher Lorenz Regente. “We gained not only knowledge on the Church’s history but most of all the strengthening of our faith which we will use to further guide the young brethren toward being faithful and active members of the Church.”
Christopher Solanor, a head deacon who participated with his family, expressed his thankfulness to the Lord God “for using the Church Administration which launches activities wherein brethren not only learn more about the history of the Church, but most of all, inspire them to steadfastly uphold their Church membership through the proofs of the fulfillment of God’s promises to His Messenger and to the entirety of His nation in these last days.”
They were supervised by the resident minister Brother Elmer Bulos and local Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Jerome Belangel.
