Trece Martires City, Cavite Ecclesiastical District held a Christian Family Organizations (CFO) joint monthly meetup on March 1, 2026.
Revolving around the theme “Intensive Renewal of Life,” the event saw the members of the Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi organizations in every local congregations come together to receive further instructions in the faith.
The house of worship of the Trece Martires City Local Congregation served as the main venue from which the event’s proceedings were livestreamed to the place of worship of all other local congregations across the district.
District supervising minister Brother Rodrigo Reyes presided over the gathering during which he delivered the opening remarks. This was after the opening prayer led by district CFO overseer Brother Benjamin Buena.
“Imparting God’s teachings begin in the family, as God expects the parents to be responsible in raising their children obedient in all of His will,” Brother Reyes emphasized in his speech.
Afterwards, district presidents of the three CFOs presented the upcoming activities for the year, encouraging the brethren to take part in all Church endeavors. The gathering concluded with a prayer led by assistant district supervising minister Brother Noel Resurreccion.
KADIWA district president Angelica Mae Legaspi, one of the speakers, encouraged members in every local congregation to actively join and support upcoming activities. She said in an interview right after the meetup: “This activity became a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the faith of the brethren. By coming together from different organizations, the unity deepened and family bonds grew stronger.”
Reminded about the importance of renewing one’s life, Binhi district president Dan Jacob Valencia said, “I will encourage my fellow brethren to do the same.”
More than making the brethren “aware of the district’s activities,” the meetup has enable them “to prepare ahead of time, being inspired to unite with,” said Children’s Worship Service (CWS) district president Alliyah Bayanay.
Regarding the activities lined up on the coming months, “those were approved by the Church Administration. Showing genuine care for the brethren, these inspire every household to unite, strengthen parent-child relationships, and uphold obedience to God’s will,” said Buklod district vice president Kyle Andrei Briones. — With assistance from District’s Multimedia
