“Before, brethren would have to enter a gated community to reach their place of worship. Now, having transferred to a more accessible part of the neighborhood, the brethren are all the more able to participate with the Church endeavors,” said Brother Arnel Agorilla, Pampanga North District supervising minister.
On February 21, 2026, the Local Congregation of San Agustin-SF began holding worship services in their new place of worship along Sampaguita Road, Brgy. San Isidro, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. The said place was volunteered by the married couple Eddie and Fe Calma, Church officers from Staging Area Congregation, for Church use.
Upon approval by the Church Administration, brethren collaborated efforts for a month and a half in beautifying their newfound place of worship.
“Being in a gated community then, persecutions abound. When the gates would close by 8 p.m. regardless of our ongoing Church activities, brethren would have to reroute—to a much farther way out,” reminisced then resident ministerial worker Brother Jeffrey Canlas who has been recently assigned at Bulaon Congregation.
Brother Agorilla officiated the first worship service in the new place of worship. His Bible-based homily centered on how it is not impossible for the true servants of God to prosper in life as long as they are faithful to Him and remain dedicated in serving Him.
“I felt happy and uplifted. Being in our new place of worship made me feel more peaceful,” enthused April Kriz Mapiles.
Not long after this occasion, Brother Aurelio Pataray Jr. has been assigned as San Agustin Congregation’s resident ministerial worker.
