Following the Church Administration’s approval, the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, in the Philippines, has opened the Dalahican Extension of the Roxas Local Congregation.
The inaugural worship service of the new extension on March 18, 2026 was held in its newly built 70-seater house of worship, making the occasion doubly special for its members.
District supervising minister Brother Rodel DG. Mañebog led them at the sacred occasion. In his sermon, he exhorted them to remain obedient to all of God’s commands upheld by the Church Of Christ so as to be blessed with His companionship as they traverse this troublous world and, thus, attain salvation on Judgment Day.
“I’m so happy,” enthused deacon Danilo Picar. He wholeheartedly offered the use of a parcel of his land for the construction of the new house of worship. “God has answered what we here in Dalahican had been praying for, that may we have our own house of worship closer to our homes.”
The new extension is the Area 7 of the Roxas Congregation whose house of worship is approximately 5.5 kilometers away from Dalahican from where some would even have to cross a river just to make it to Roxas.
Dalahican Extension is entrusted to the care of the said congregation’s second head deacon Erenio Quiñonez. On behalf of its members he enthused: “We thank so much our Lord God, and the Church Administration for approving our having this own house of worship to all the more uphold our worship and service to Him.”
