Youth members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from the Orlando Congregation in the Florida & Caribbean Ecclesiastical District attended a “Painting Social” activity on March 13, 2026.
As its name signifies, the activity was aimed at promoting and honing creativity as well as strengthening the bond of brotherhood among the children members. “This activity is important so that brethren can know each other more, have fun, and all the more strengthen the faith and love of brotherhood among us,” said district Binhi president Arjay Clemente who led in organizing the activity.
After a prayer by district Christian Family Organizations overseer and resident minister Brother Alfie Villanueva, all in attendance first watched a video presentation entitled “Making Forever Friends” from an Iglesia Ni Cristo online program “Faith Speaks.”
Thereafter, using colors, brushes, and different techniques, the youth created their respective artworks. Their parents were not remiss in guiding, witnessing, and commending their prowess. The CWS officers also helped in guiding their younger brethren.
“I had fun. It’s fun to be with friends from the Church,” said six-year-old Ryu Manguit. His father Adrian said, “I was happy to see my son participated with other youth, enjoying each other’s company. It’s my hope as a parent that activities like this will be building blocks for lifelong friendships inside the Church.”
