“Seeing Brother Angelo take his oath was overwhelming,” said Robert Billy Fermin, head deacon of Montclair Congregation, Orange County District. “We felt God’s presence so strongly. It gave us renewed strength and confidence that the Church is in good hands, and that God continues to fulfill His promises to His people.”

“I thought about how much the Church has endured, and yet, here we are, stronger than ever,” said Charlene Dela Peña, a choir member from the Local Congregation of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia District. “I was in tears the whole time. Brother Angelo’s appointment is more than organizational—it’s spiritual. It reminds us that God is not remiss in looking after His servants.”
