On March 8, 2025, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, officiated at a worship service at the Local Congregation of Bagong Silang 5, Ecclesiastical District of Caloocan North. In his Bible-based sermon, he emphasized that true faithfulness to God requires unyielding dedication and devotion to Him—a pursuit of a life pleasing to God. The Executive Minister also pointed out through the Holy Scriptures that those who received God’s grace must become true beacons of light in the world through constant renewal of life.

Inspired by the biblical sermon of the Executive Minister during the worship service was Sister Remedios Ampongan, 76, a deaconess. She firmly believes that true love for the Lord God is demonstrated through faithful obedience to His commands.

The Executive Minister affirmed what the Bible attests, that the Lord God does grant peace, life, and abundant blessings to His servants who steadfastly remain faithful to Him. Brother Elvin Ortega, 40, a secretariat officer, reminisced about such blessings and the great transformation he experienced after becoming a Church Of Christ member. He reflected, “I went from a life of emptiness to one filled with peace, love, and faith.” With God always by their side, His true servants are never overcome by worries and troubles in life.

“My faith became my anchor when personal doubts crept in. Also, the unwavering love and support of the brotherhood of Church members, whom I consider as family, uplifted my spirit and helped me reach my baptism despite hardship and persecution,” said Brother Elvin.

Brother Eduardo Manalo concluded his homily with a hopeful biblical message, reaffirming God’s promise of abundant blessings for His chosen servants who remain faithful and obedient to the end.
