Aiming to help their fellowmen, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Araneta Congregation, Ecclesiastical District of Central, held a blood donation drive on February 7, 2026 at the function hall of Barangay Doña Imelda, Quezon City.

“This activity was held in fulfillment of God’s commandment to love our neighbors and help those who are in need,” explained Brother Ruel Cervantes, assistant district supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Central. Held in collaboration with the INC Social Services Office (SSO), Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS), and St. Luke’s Medical Center, the socio-civic activity yielded 40 blood units.

Among the donors was leadership aide assisting in the pulpit and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher Leopoldo Damot III who was “happy for being able to take part in this activity launched by the Church Administration to be of help to our fellowmen.”

“With God’s help, and the active participation of the brethren, this socio-civic work became successful,” expressed resident minister Brother Marven Alcantara. “As for the succeeding activities to be held by the local congregation, we will also continue striving to do everything in a manner pleasing to the Almighty.” — With reports from Ron Kevin Talens
