The newly-built house of worship of the Local Congregation of Aras-Asan, Ecclesiastical District of Tandag City, Surigao Del Sur, was dedicated to God on December 19, 2025. It is situated at Purok Talisay A, Barangay Aras-asan, Cagwait, Surigao Del Sur, in the island of Mindanao, Philippines.

District supervising minister Brother Gem S. Jingco officiated at the holy gathering, which became doubly special for the brethren being also their Year-end Thanksgiving worship service to God.

“The new house of worship is a clear manifestation of God’s love for us. A very good reason to thank Him through our worship services to Him coupled with our thank offerings. This holy place will serve as a place of worship, where we can also pray, especially during trying times. This gathering has added zeal and inspiration to us, as we face a new year filled with hope that God is with us,” said resident ministerial worker Brother Jovel Galagala.

On behalf of the brethren in Aras-Asan and the whole district, Brother Jingco said, “We will never cease to render our thanksgiving to the Lord God and to our Lord Jesus Christ. We also express our gratitude to our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, and to our Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, for always tending for the welfare of our faith. On our part, we will continue abiding by the biblical teachings.”

The new 110-seater worship building is installed with video streaming equipment along with a Johannus organ. Adjacent to it is a pastoral house and an office building for various Church departments. — With assistance from Ervin Saga
