In Japan, the Ecclesiastical Districts of Tokyo and Nagoya held baptisms of new converts on May 27—at the place of worship of Saitama Congregation—and  on May 31,  2024—at the Nagoya Congregation’s house of worship, respectively.

Brother Amante Rodriguez, Tokyo, Japan District supervising minister, and Brother Manny Benedicto, Nagoya, Japan District supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gatherings held in their respective districts. During the sacred gathering, would-be members were reminded of the blessings God reserves for those who heeded to His timely call, that is, to join the Church Of Christ before Judgment Day comes.

Among the newly baptized was Janeth Gonzales, from Sendai Group Worship Service, who gained curiosity about the Church while still in the Philippines. When she arrived in Japan, she “took a bolder step to know more about the Church by attending evangelical missions and worship services, and later on decided to enlist as a doctrinal instructee.”

“Because of God’s mercy, people, like the ones baptized today, are being called into the Church and given the right to worship God and be certain of salvation,” stated Brother Benedicto. “Members of the Church Of Christ in this country, despite being busy attending to their needs, never hesitate in giving time to share their faith to more people who also need salvation on Judgment Day,” he added on behalf of the district. — With reports from Stephanie Delos Reyes and Shaira Dabu of INC News Section
