Brethren from the Local Congregation of Bagoladio, Ecclesiastical District of Iriga City, Camarines Sur, in the Philippines, rejoiced having witnessed the dedication of their 110-seater new house of worship on March 13, 2026.

District supervising minister Brother Ronald A. Reyes officiated at the special worship service.

In his Bible-based homily, he emphasized the significance of the house of worship: “This is God’s dwelling place where He listens to the prayers of His people and grants to them the blessings He reserved for them.”

After the homily, assistant district supervising minister Brother Nace Gonzales Jr. led the prayer. Together with them also was district edification overseer Brother Sonny De Mesa who led the opening prayer.

To give glory to God on this momentous occasion, “I prepared my fellow choir members. For almost two months, we practiced the hymns,” shared assistant choir director and organist Malyn Onoya. “I’m very happy having fulfilled my duty. I will continue fulfilling it for as long as I live.”

“My heart is filled with joy and eagerness to serve the Almighty God,” enthused KADIWA congregation president Jade Sanico. “He can expect that I will continue leading my fellow youth members in unity and obedience to His commandments.” His mother Margie, a deaconess, added, “I’m so thankful for having a beautiful house of worship. I will take care and cherish it for the rest of my life.”

The new house of worship is located at Zone 6, Bagoladio, Bula, Camarines Sur, which is 27 kilometers away from the district office. Equipped with a Technical Support for Videostreaming (TSV) room, and a Johannus organ, among others, it replaced at the same site the former one that was severely damaged by typhoons.

Led by resident ministerial worker Brother Lesner Dancalan, brethren in Bagoladio remain unhindered from worshiping God as construction goes underway. For months, they would gather in a temporary place of worship just about 50 meters away. Fortunately, the completion of their new house of worship was just in time for their congregation’s 43rd anniversary on April 4. — With assistance from District Multimedia
