The Local Congregation of Bato, in the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales North, Philippines held a special worship service on February 7, 2026 to thank and praise the Lord God for eight decades of blessings and victories.
On the instruction of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Church’s General Secretary Brother Rene J. Panoncillo officiated at the sacred occasion.
In his homily, Brother Panoncillo encouraged the brethren to fully value their membership in the Church Of Christ by being obedient to God’s will so that He will bless them in this life and save them on Judgment Day.
The Bato Congregation was established in 1946. Its 553-seater house of worship was dedicated to God on February 21, 1997 in a worship service led by then Executive Minister, Brother Eraño G. Manalo.
“We thank the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo Manalo, for supporting this occasion,” supervising minister Brother Mateo A. Escobido said. “It has … added inspiration for everyone of us here to all the more cherish our divine election [and] continue actively serving God until we reach His promise of salvation.”
“Our local congregation has been through a lot,” said third head deacon Rogelio Trapsi, one of the congregation’s senior members. “But, we will stay true to God by faithfully fulfilling our respective duties.” —With research assistance from Melma Doloritos
