Above anything else, people must prioritize being sure of salvation on Judgment Day by being in the true religion. Doing so is a must as all have sinned and are sentenced to suffer eternal perdition in the lake of fire. Man’s only hope, as ascribed in the Bible, is to heed God’s will primarily the call of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to enter the true Church—the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Such biblical truth was conveyed to the guests during an evangelical mission that was held at Beaconsfield Congregation’s house of worship on September 28, 2025. There, brethren from other congregations, namely, Pointe-Claire, and Vaudreuil, joined in bringing along guests. It was officiated at by Quebec and Atlantic Canada District Light of Salvation overseer Brother Melvin Ibañez.

One of the guests was Jonabel Fuentes. She said in an interview afterwards, “I was born and raised in a Protestant household. Being here in your Church is a new experience for me. I felt incredibly welcome and glad to have attended one of your activities. Entering the beautiful edifice and hearing the biblical preaching was spiritually enriching.”

Brother Ibañez also exhorted the attendees to promptly heed the Savior’s call to enter the true Church as the signs of the nearing end have all been fulfilled, thus the need to obey with a sense of urgency the command that will lead to salvation.

On behalf of the Beaconsfield Congregation, resident minister Brother Rafael Minorca said, “We are thankful to the Lord God for giving fruition to the efforts of brethren in participating in the work of propagation. Through His help, the guests they brought along them will be led as well into joining the true Church.” — With assistance from Frank Glenn Bunag
